5 Tips For Graduation Stage Rentals
If you decide that renting a stage is the best option for your graduation ceremony, there are a few things to keep in mind.
- Be sure to book the stage well in advance. This will ensure that you get the date and time that you want, as well as avoid any last-minute surprises.
- Make sure to measure the area where the stage will be set up. This will ensure that there’s enough room for the stage, as well as any other elements that you plan on using (e.g., a band, ADA ramp, stairs, decor, etc.).
- Do you need an ADA ramp or elevator? An ADA ramp or elevator may be required if you have any attendees who require special handicap accommodations.
- If the graduation is on a football, baseball, or soccer field, do you have plywood or some kind of ground protection to protect the grass from the vehicle and mobile stage trailer? We recommend 3/4in plywood and 4+ people to move plywood from back to front as the vehicle transporting the stage drives over the grass.
- Make sure your stage has two sets of stairs. This way graduates can walk up one side, then down the opposite side.
